A hospital environment

Our client is in need of six (6) RPhTs for a full-time, 60 day contract, that will see the chosen candidates working in a hospital in Etobicoke. This is an incredible opportunity for you to get your foot in the door for a potential long-term career at this particular hospital, which is a much sought-after position for RPhTs.

For this role, you’ll be expected to work 40 hours a week, although the hours will vary. They can range from 8:00am to 4:00pm or 1:00pm to 9:00pm, and due to the fact that it’s a hospital setting, you will be responsible for paying for your own parking on the days that you work. You’ll be check prescriptions for patients, in the range of 35-100 prescriptions daily, and you will be expected to work accurately and diligently. You’ll be entitled to two 15-minute breaks during an 8-hour shift, and a 30-minute unpaid lunch/dinner break.

Other necessary qualifications include:

  • You must be a licensed RPhT in good standing who is able to work in Ontario, so please expect to show us all of your proper credentials and proof of applicable education
  • Fluent in English
  • Dependable and on-time
  • Able to effectively work with little to no supervision
