THE OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS
As a pharmacist at our client’s pharmacy, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your responsibilities will include dispensing prescriptions accurately, counselling patients on medication usage and health management, conducting medication reviews, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals, oversee pharmacy operations, and contribute to a positive customer experience by providing exceptional service.
Hourly Rate: up to $65/hour
· $3K Signing Bonus & $2K Relocation Reimbursement
· Commission per Med Check/Med Review package
· Health Benefits Package
Main Duties:
· Check prescriptions to ensure proper dosage
· Ability to calculate, measure, and mix the quantities of prescribed drugs
· Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customer and communicate the dosage amount, adverse effects and other important indications
Desired Qualifications:
· Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Commitment to work in a professional manner with other Pharmaceutical professionals
