Our clients are rising to the challenges of COVID-19, and that’s why we are currently looking for passionate and experienced RPN/RN to work for one of our clients located in the Greater Toronto Area.
This position requires travel and so the candidates need to be able to drive between locations. This assignment is a 3 month contract. Candidates are expected to work on weekdays (Monday to Friday). This assignment starts ASAP and offers possibility of extension on a monthly basis after 3 months.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as a member of the site COVID-19 screening & testing team
- Primarily responsible for swabbing patients for COVID-19 testing
- Commitment to professional practice and safety, including following proper procedures and protocol
- Work relatively independently, but will also work collaboratively with the team
- Customer service and relations as appropriate
- Ensure high levels of quality and professional customer service;
- Work to create a service driven process;
- Service excellence is a core expectation;
- Handle client complaints
- Demonstrate commitment to health and safety;
- Set a standard of performance and behavior (lead by example);
- Communicate expectations for health and safety to co-workers;
- Ensure training needs are identified and met;
- Enforce health and safety standards and positively reinforce good behavior

- Maintain patient confidence by keeping health information confidential

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current Registration and membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Must have demonstrated ability to conceptualize, problem solve, understand issues, set priorities, evaluate, negotiate and allocate resources
- Exceptional MS Office skills particularly with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Competent to perform CPR at a Basic Cardiac Life Support level
- Evidence of sound organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work well in stressful situations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates a commitment to customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues, volunteers and other members of the community and public
- Ability to work well independently and to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position
- Demonstrated pattern of good attendance and work record
