Olá! This is how you say hello to people back where I’m from in Brazil. And if you want to say goodbye, or that everything is cool, you can say “beleza!” (This is a slang word, which literally means “beauty.”)
In my career so far, I’ve learned how this friendliness and ability to communicate comfortably with everyone is a real asset. To really listen to what people have to say means that you will conduct business more successfully. As Stephen Covey said in his book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, you should seek first to understand before being understood. You should also seek “win-win” situations. In my role as a recruiter here at RPI Consulting Group Inc, I put all of my energy into seeking recruiting solutions that will make everybody win — both the pharmacy/medical Clients and our Candidates.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from George Brown College. I also have a diploma in Marketing Management. When I was in Brazil, I worked as a financial coordinator for one of the country’s largest cement production companies. All of this education and experience has given me the insight to work with all aspects of recruiting.
Some of my hobbies include playing soccer and tennis. I like to keep active as much as I possibly can. When I’m relaxing, though, I still like to keep sharp, specifically by reading business books. One of the books I’ve enjoyed a lot recently is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.
