Hey, I’m Mitch! Well, actually, my full name is Mitchell. But pretty much everybody uses my nickname. If I could summarize myself in one sentence, I would use the saying “work hard, play hard.” You see, when it comes to working with physicians, nurses, pharmacists — truly any of the healthcare/pharmacy Clients and Candidates that RPI Consulting Group Inc. recruits for — my number one aim is to turn ideas into reality. Business is all about having confidence in your actions. Nowhere is this truer than in healthcare recruiting. I am always alert to what jobs our Clients have opened up, and I will go the extra mile to bring these opportunities to our pool of candidates. So in case you were unsure about signing up with us, you know what to do now.
Further to what I was saying about playing hard, I moonlight as a bassist in a rock band. Yep, you read that correctly! I would say that there are some parallels to bass playing and recruiting, in the sense that you are the solid foundation for every other band member (like our Clients). Bass players harmonize the melody and lock in with the drummer’s rhythms. I’m nerding out here about music, but I think you get what I’m trying to say!
Before I started working here, I first studied at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario, where I graduated from the Music and Digital Media program in 2012. I graduated from the Human Resources Management program at Toronto’s Seneca College in 2017. I am also a CHRP— a Certified Human Resources Professional.
Past career experience of mine includes working as a talent acquisition supervisor in the non-profit sector, as well as talent acquisition for B2B Bank, which is under the umbrella of Laurentian Bank. I have also worked as an employment counsellor.
