About this Pharmacist Job:
- The dates you would be working if your application is successful are: February 7th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th
- These shifts would take place at two different pharmacy locations, within an approximately 30 minute drive of each other.
- The hours of these shifts will vary depending on the date, including 8 AM to 4 PM; 9 AM to 2 PM; and 9 AM to 1 PM.
- In other words, you will need to be flexible with your time on the days you will be working,
- The volume of work is relatively low at both of these locations you would be working, ranging between 30 and 60 prescriptions processed per day on average.
- Your primary task will be to check each of these prescriptions and to ensure that the drugs each patient needs are accurately procured.
- This accuracy is based on patient records and the scripts brought in from their physician.
- Our client’s two independent retail pharmacies have an established rapport with their respective local communities, and you will need to maintain this with strong communication abilities and customer service.
- As a pharmacist, you will need to serve as a trusted source of pharmaceutical knowledge, being sensitive to the needs and concerns of patients in person and over the phone.
Requirements for this Position:
- You must be injection certified.
- You must know how to use Kroll pharmacy software.
- On top of being a strong English speaker, you will need to speak either Hindi or Punjabi.
- You need to be licensed to practice pharmacy by the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
- You need to be a graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy post-secondary program.
- Our client needs someone who can travel to both pharmacy locations in the outskirts of Edmonton.
- At least 2 years of previous pharmacy experience would be an asset.
