RPI is looking for a team of 6 pharmacists for a unique, exciting opportunity

As you know, RPI Consulting Group is Canada’s #1 source for healthcare recruitment. We’ve placed thousands of skilled candidates – including pharmacists, registered pharmacy technicians (RPhT), pharmacy assistants, nurse practitioners (NP), registered practical nurses (RPN), licensed practical nurses (LPN), registered nurses (RN), personal support workers (PSW) and more – in every province across the country, and today, we want to highlight a recent job we received that spans across two provinces. Be sure to read our blog daily to see the hottest opportunities available!

Brampton and Calgary

Our client is currently looking for 6 pharmacists to fill openings in two Canadian cities: 4 in Brampton, and 2 in Calgary. This role is virtual pharmacy work, and you will be working in an office setting where you’ll be expected to check prescriptions virtually and provide online support to customers who have questions or concerns about their medication. This is a perfect position for any pharmacist who is feeling uneasy about working in a community pharmacy post-COVID, or if you’re simply looking for a change of setting.

This is a full-time role, and there are two different shifts available daily: 9:00am – 5:00pm, and 5:00pm to midnight, and in the near future, it is expected that an overnight shift will be made available as well. The pay for this position is $46 per hour in Brampton and $44 per hour in Calgary (with benefits provided after 3 months of employment), and because this is a virtual job, we’re only looking for candidates who have exceptional communication skills in English – you must be able to speak and write English fluently, as you will be communicating regularly with customers, insurance companies and more. You will be expected to have strong writing and typing skills (minimum 35 words per minute) and have the ability to speak pleasantly and clearly on the phone – if you’re not confident in your communication skills, we ask that you don’t apply, as you will not be a good fit for this role.

In closing

Again, we can’t stress this enough: please only apply for this job if you possess outstanding communication skills in English. If you feel that your skills are top-notch and you’re ready to try something new, contact our team of Account Managers today, or send us your resumé directly to jobs@rpigroup.ca
