A large production client of RPI Consulting Group that is based out of both Mississauga and Kingston in Ontario is looking for pharmacy assistants for a number of opportunities. Experience is necessary

Our client is currently undertaking a new project and requires multiple pharmacy assistants to unpack deliveries of medication as they come in, and also ensure that any outgoing deliveries are accurate and well-packed. Our client is only looking for pharmacy assistants who have extensive experience and/or have been working in Canada for several years, and experience in community pharmacies and hospital pharmacies is considered to be a very strong asset. Beyond this, successful candidates should be proficient in the Kroll pharmacy system, and you will be expected to work one of two different shifts: 8:00am to 4:00pm, and 1:00pm 9:00pm. Candidates may be asked to work both shifts over the course of the assignment. If you’re hired for the Mississauga location, you will be expected to have a valid driver’s license and regular access to a dependable vehicle as this location is not easily accessible by public transit.

Another important note: candidates should be fluent and able to communicate well in English, as there will be times where you’ll be expected to take phone calls and answer email requests. You should be able to comfortably lift upwards of 30 lbs, and comfortable with working in a warehouse setting that will see you frequently entering cold storage areas.

This is a full-time, 3-month contract with possibilities for overtime. The pay is $20 per hour, with a good chance for contract renewal – or even full-time employment – based on outstanding performance.
