Ever since the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared COVID-19 to be a pandemic, and countries around the world began practicing social distancing and urging residents to stay at home, the phrase “the new normal” has been mentioned frequently. Essentially, this refers to the fact that, for the foreseeable future, the pandemic is going to greatly change the way that we’re used to living our day-to-day lives. According to the Toronto Start article, no customers who have entered stores with this policy in place have declined the temperature check, and it has been very successful at helping to ensure the safety of all shoppers and employees.
