A client for RPI Consulting Group that is based just west of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is urgently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 6-month contract that will commence on August 1. Located just west of Toronto, Milton’s population and overall growth has exploded over the last few years – and for good reason! This friendly and inviting spot is a perfect place to raise a family, with a great downtown area, fantastic parks and hiking trails, shopping malls and other retail outlets, and it’s only a short drive away from the cities of Brampton, Mississauga, and of course, Toronto.
RPI’s client runs a nursing home in Milton, and they’re looking for an experienced RN who will be able to start working Monday, January 30 on a six-month contract that will run until June 28, 2023. You will be expected to work full-time hours between Monday to Friday, working 8 hours shifts with start times varying from 5:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and well in a team environment. We are looking for compassionate and reliable professionals who will be able to provide outstanding care to the home’s residents, and the chosen candidate will be compensated $45 per hour. We are also looking for an RN who has access to reliable transportation, and/or lives only a short distance away.
What are the requirements?

Active registration as an RN with the Ontario College of Nurses

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to work well in a team environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsible, reliable, and compassionate

In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)

Previous experience with COVID-19 testing preferred, but not required
