We Have a Brand New Relief Pharmacist Role 1 Hour Away from Saskatoon

This pharmacist job will take place from Monday February 3rd until Thursday February 13th. The work you do will take place in an independent retail pharmacy that serves a small town community with dedication. We think this job would be great for a veteran pharmacist who wants to get back to heart of pharmacy work. You’ll be making meaningful connections with people of all ages, helping them manage their health. What could be more rewarding than safeguarding the health of the general public?

The Duties of This Job:

  • Most of all, you’ll be checking prescriptions that patients give you in the pharmacy. You’ll check these for complete accuracy, find the drug/s that they need, and then provide information about each of the drugs you give the patient.
  • Considering you will be providing information about each of these drugs, including side effects and dosage, you will need to be very well-versed in a wide range of prescription drugs.
  • At this pharmacy, you will process an average of 120 prescriptions daily.
  • You will be working eight shifts in total over a period of two weeks. You will work from Monday to Thursday.
  • Each of these shifts will start at 9 AM and end at 6 PM.
  • On the first Friday and the weekend in between, you can enjoy walks in the tranquil rural environment that surrounds the pharmacy and get acquainted with the early history of Canada’s prairie region.

The Requirements of This Job:

  • You must know how to use Kroll pharmacy software.
  • You need to have an undergraduate degree in pharmacy.
  • You should be a licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
  • 3 years or more of retail pharmacy experience would be highly desirable for our client.
  • A positive attitude and strong customer relations experience is important for this job.
