New Pharmacy Job: We Are Seeking a Regulated Pharmacy Technician in the Napanee, Ontario Area

You will be working at this specialty pharmacy starting on October 21st, continuing for three months.

Located in southeastern Ontario, you will be working in a part of Ontario with access to the world-renowned Thousand Islands region. Take this opportunity to gain experience in a pharmacy work environment that’s very different from the usual community pharmacy.

What Will You Do At This Pharmacy Technician Job?:

  • Locate prescriptions based on incoming scripts, with the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Organizing the pharmacy’s inventory
  • Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy work space
  • You will not be working with the kind of walk-in traffic experienced in community pharmacies.
  • Rotate stock and guarantee that no expired products are distributed.
  • Talking with patients over the phone about their prescription questions
  • Perform duties in priority according to the order you are assigned
  • You must be able to focus, even under a demanding workload.

What Skills Will You Need?:

  • You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • You must have graduated from a post-secondary Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy environment is necessary.
  • Retail and independent pharmacy experience is suitable, but specialist pharmacy experience is even more desirable.
  • You need to be a clear and fluent communicator in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
  • Our client has emphasized that they want to hire a meticulous, detail-oriented RPhT.

What Will Your Compensation Be?:

  • You will earn between 21 dollars and 25 dollars.
  • This rate is dependent on your level of experience.
