RPI Consulting Group has been Canada’s #1 source for healthcare recruitment for almost 20 years, and in that time, we’ve never been as busy or received as many requests for our services as we have since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. We predict that we’ll continue to be busier than normal for the foreseeable future, as the “new normal” that we find ourselves in has led to a greater need for healthcare workers such as nurse practitioners (NP), registered nurses (RN), registered practical nurses (RPN), licensed practical nurses (LPN), personal support workers (PSW), pharmacists, registered pharmacy technicians (RPhT), pharmacy assistants, and more. Because we’ve never been busier, we’re currently looking for people to join our team! If you’re interested in learning more about working at RPI, read on to see if you’d be a good fit.
A very important role
RPI Consulting Group is currently looking for recruiters who have a particular passion for healthcare recruitment – you’ll be ‘selling’ jobs and roles in every province across Canada, from the largest cities like Toronto and Vancouver, to more remote areas in Northern Ontario and Alberta. Your daily job will consist mainly of talking to people, both clients and candidates. With candidates – or those who are potentially a good fit for a job – you should do everything you can to learn about the person. Ask them about their families, their education, their background, their hopes and dreams – it sounds corny, but being personable and learning everything you can about a potential hire can go a long way in ensuring that you find someone who’s perfect for a specific role.
What can you expect when you work at RPI? First and foremost, this is a fast-paced environment, but it’s also an environment where every employee is given the opportunity to do very well. Don’t believe us? Take a look at our reviews on websites like Glassdoor and Indeed to read the positive feedback that our company has received over the years. We’re also a very progressive company, as illustrated by our many positive reviews on Google. Currently, we’re looking for people who have a strong background in sales – because at the end of the day, we’re selling jobs to subset of the healthcare industry that really doesn’t need help with finding jobs. The healthcare employees and workers that we mentioned above, especially nurses, are generally able to find jobs on their own, but at RPI, our work is driven by a desire to help our clients who generally operate in rural, underserved areas and often have trouble finding talented staff to hire. To that end, a proven background in sales can go a long way in helping you achieve success in healthcare recruitment and at RPI.
And unlike other companies in the industry, we’re happy to offer our employees the option of working virtually. Our office is located in Toronto, but if you live outside of the city or far away, you can still work for us from home full-time, and come into the office at your leisure whenever you can. We do request that anyone who applies for the job be able to work during the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm (EST), Monday to Friday, but if you live outside of the province and you’re willing to adhere to these hours, we would definitely like to hear from you!
We offer extensive training to all of our employees, and have a plethora of technical resources to help with this training. Even if you have no prior experience in recruitment services (healthcare or otherwise), we can help you hone your skills and gain some valuable experience in no time. Above all else, we’re looking for personable individuals who are confident and able to comfortably talk to people on a regular basis. If you’re the type of person who likes to strike up a conversation in an elevator and/or has a very optimistic outlook, you’re the perfect fit for RPI!
A career to remember!
