CANADA DAY 2023 IS ALMOST HERE – AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM RPI

This Saturday, July 1, is Canada Day, which is Canada’s national day for celebrating the anniversary of Canadian confederation which took place on July 1, 1867. Across the country, Canadians will be coming together for barbecues, parties, and other celebratory gatherings, and on behalf of all of us here at RPI Consulting Group, we want to wish all of our clients, candidates, and friends a truly safe and happy Canada Day!

A day of celebration

Whether you’re a pharmacist, registered pharmacy technician (RPhT), pharmacy assistant, registered nurse (RN), registered practical nurse (RPN), licensed practical nurse (LPN), nurse practitioner (NP), personal support worker (PSW), or any other healthcare employee, we hope that you’ll take some time on Saturday to celebrate with your loved ones and and enjoy a well-earned day off. As the holiday falls on a Saturday this year, we’ll be giving our team the day off on Monday, July 3 – we’ll be back to work at our normal hours on Tuesday, July 4, but our Account Managers will be available over the weekend in the case of a staffing emergency or other conflict – feel free to contact our team at any time!

Regarding pay

We’d also like share a quick reminder for our candidates – because Canada Day (and Monday, July 3 in most places) is a bank holiday, you should expect your pay to be delayed if you’ve recently submitted your invoices. This is unfortunately beyond our control, but rest assured that we will do our best to get you your pay in a timely and efficient manner.

Have a safe and happy holiday!

Again, from all of us here at RPI, have a great Canada Day – be safe and enjoy the celebration! We look forward to hearing about the festivities when we’re back on our normal office hours on Tuesday.
