In the wake of Canada’s recent exposure to COVID-19/Novel Coronavirus, how will your facility respond to this new health crisis?
A Rapidly Escalating Emergency Scenario
If you’ve followed the news recently, you will have noticed the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the world. The virus has acted in unpredictable ways, as people who have been exposed to the virus travel to different countries.
Canada is not immune to the threat of Coronavirus. To date, the province of Ontario alone has 34 cases of the virus, with new victims found every day. Our recruiters have made a concerted effort to protect the health of our fellow Canadians, continuing to successfully source nurses to work on the front lines of this public health emergency. We know that quarantines may be essential to controlling the spread of COVID-19, and we are working hard to provide the nursing staff to make these quarantines successful.
Take Preventative Measures— Hire Our Specialized Nurses
But quarantines are just the beginning. Hospitals and nursing homes will soon introduce COVID-19 symptom checkpoints, requiring an increased number of nurse staff. Senior citizens and people with compromised immune systems are especially at-risk when facing virus symptoms.
Canada may even begin hiring nurses to screen conference attendees and people working in close proximity to the general public. Imagine how many nurses will be needed to address these new precautions.
We want to ask you— is your healthcare facility prepared for the rapid escalation of the virus? At present we have several nurses with training in COVID-19 assessment, symptom screening, and treatment who are ready to work in your long-term care facility, public institution, manufacturing plant, or any other facility that could be impacted by this outbreak. Don’t wait until it’s too late to protect the health of your workplace.
