Our client is based in Alberta and is in need of a ‘floating’ relief pharmacist to work at multiple pharmacies throughout the province, from on or around May 20 to July 15 – a 6-to-8 week assignment that will see the chosen candidate working anywhere from 35 to 42 hours per week. While a full list of cities and towns that you’ll be expected to travel to will be provided to you upon confirmation of the assignment, you can expect to work in the following:

  • Calgary
  • Edmonton
  • Red Deer
  • Lacombe
  • Sylvan Lake
  • Fort McMurray
  • Grand Prairie

As you can see, the travel required for this assignment is extensive, and so we’re looking for only the most passionate pharmacists, and those who love being on the road! You’ll be driving all over Alberta and seeing the natural beauty that the province has to offer, so naturally you will also need a valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle at all times.

Other factors to consider

In addition, the following criteria will need to be met by the chosen candidate:

  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in the province of Alberta
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Knowledge in both Kroll and HealthWATCH pharmacy systems
  • Passionate about your work
  • Works well with others and can lead a small team as required
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and a strong drive for success
