RPI’s client runs a nursing home near Steinbach, and they’re looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will be able to start working in a full-time role no later than August 22, 2022. You will be expected to work full-time hours between Monday to Friday, working 8 hours shifts with start times varying from 6:30 AM \u2013 11:30 AM. Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and well in a team environment. We are looking for compassionate and reliable professionals who will be able to provide outstanding care to the home’s residents, and the chosen candidate will be compensated $29 per hour.<\/span><\/p>\n 1-2 years’ of experience in a nursing home or LTC setting is preferred<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to work well in a team environment<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Excellent interpersonal and communication skills<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Responsible, reliable, and compassionate<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Previous experience with COVID-19 testing preferred, but not required<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Steinbach is the perfect place to live and work if you’re looking to slow your life down a bit and potentially start a movie in a small-but-mighty Manitoba city – if you’re an LPN who’s been looking for a change of pace, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of this opportunity!
