RPI’s client is looking for a pharmacist to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, with the selected candidate expected to start working no later than Monday, October 16, 2023. The pharmacy is located in Welland’s downtown area, and it fills approximately 150 prescriptions per day. It operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, and Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week with at least one Saturday worked per month. Your starting wage for this job will be $40 per hour, along with generous benefits and 3-weeks vacation per year (applicable after the first 3 months of employment). Your duties will include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Supervise and provide guidance and direction to pharmacy staff<\/p>\n

\u2022 Accountable for the financial and operational success of the department<\/p>\n

\u2022 Prepare, dispense, and control medications in an accurate and timely manner<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensure inventory levels for medication and over-the-counter supplements are adequate to meet patients\u2019 needs<\/p>\n

\u2022 Counselling patients regarding medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner<\/p>\n

\u2022 Administering COVID-19 vaccinations and flu shots to the public<\/p>\n

\u2022 Identify and report sales opportunities, both internally and externally<\/p>\n

Qualifications include:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

\u2022 Active registration as a pharmacist in Ontario<\/p>\n

\u2022 Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail environment<\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills<\/p>\n

\u2022 Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism<\/p>\n

\u2022 Injection-trained<\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of the Kroll Pharmacy system<\/p>\n
