From gorgeous lakes and forested areas to great eateries, breweries, and places to shop, Peterborough is a popular place to live for a good reason, and if you&#8217;re looking for the chance to live and work there for the next year, RPI Consulting Group has the opportunity for you!<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a-pharmacy-manager-is-needed\">A Pharmacy Manager is needed<\/h2>\n<p>Our client owns and operates an independent pharmacy located in the heart of downtown Peterborough, and they&#8217;re looking to hire an experienced pharmacy manager to work a 1-year contract to cover a maternity leave. This contract will commence on Monday, November 13, 2023 and run until Friday, November 15, 2024, although there is a chance that it will be extended or even made permanent, depending on the status of the pharmacy&#8217;s usual manager. The pharmacy operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm; Saturdays 11:00am to 4:00pm; and closed Sunday. You&#8217;ll be expected to work every Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month, and you&#8217;ll have an experienced team of staff pharmacists and RPhTs working under you. This opportunity pays $60 per hour, with performance-based bonuses also on the table.<\/p>\n<p>Your duties and responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and provide ongoing guidance and direction to staff<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for hiring new staff (if required)<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for the financial and operational success of the pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels is adequate to meet patients\u2019 needs<\/li>\n<li>Engage with patients in a friendly and positive manner at all times<\/li>\n<li>Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Identify and report sales opportunities both internally and externally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your qualifications should include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Licensed to practice pharmacy in Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a retail pharmacy environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong employee management skills and the ability to motivate and coach others as required<\/li>\n<li>Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong personal computing skills, and extensive knowledge of Kroll<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is your opportunity to work and live in one of the truly great cities in Ontario for a year &#8211; and possibly more!
