Many people may be struggling to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/daily-life-coping\/managing-stress-anxiety.html\">cope with stress\u00a0<\/a><\/span><span class=\"Normal__Char\">and anxiety more than usual during these uncertain times; burnout, isolation and seeing the effects of COVID-19 firsthand can cause additional mental health problems for everyone, especially front-line health-care staff and their families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">You&#8217;ll have the chance to work alongside a forward-thinking team dedicated to using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nimh.nih.gov\/health\/topics\/technology-and-the-future-of-mental-health-treatment\/index.shtml\">emerging technologies to improve mental well-being<\/a> <\/span><span class=\"Normal__Char\">around the country. Furthermore, compensation is competitive, varying from $30 to $35 per hour. Successful applicants will be compensated based on their qualifications.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"details-regarding-this-fantastic-opportunity\" class=\"Normal\">DETAILS REGARDING THIS FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Joining our team means providing even more Canadians with the mental health support they need through a consumer-grade platform, accessible from any device.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Want to know what the best part is? You get to choose your own schedule and hours!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">The total for a week\u2019s worth of work work will amount to an estimated 20 hours, and you will NOT be in direct verbal contact any patients.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"please-note-this-is-solely-a-remote-job\">Please note: this is solely a remote job!<\/h4>\n<h3 id=\"your-role\">YOUR ROLE<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Review preliminary intake and psychological inventories\/tests activated on the platform.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Provide written mental-health related feedback when evaluating tests<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Support member experiences by ensuring progression through programs, facilitating clarifying questions with members.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Support overall quality and member satisfaction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Operate in compliance with all relevant legislation at all times, including privacy legislation such as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/ENG\/ACTS\/P-8.6\/index.html\">Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"Normal__Char\">and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipc.on.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/Resources\/hguide-e.pdf\">Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)<\/a><\/span><span class=\"Normal__Char\">\u00a0.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\">Maintain clear and thorough documentation and notes through the digital platform within each case.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"credentials-you-must-possess\">CREDENTIALS YOU MUST POSSESS:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"Normal__Char\">Your engagement with patients will be long-term, so you must be able to commit to your hours indefinitely.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\">An undergraduate degree in Social Work (a Master\u2019s degree would be an asset). Registration with a provincial college of Social Workers and membership in good standing is preferred.<\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\">You will not be required to re-register in another province &#8211; however, licensing across multiple provinces is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\">You must have your own malpractice insurance coverage.<\/li>\n<li class=\"Normal\">Excellent written English and French; able to use written communication in a clear and personal way.
