Each clinic offers a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach with integrated medical and pharmacy services, striving to provide quality of<\/span> care and patient experience in a judgment-free care environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shifts will typically be during daytime hours with some weekends required, offering $29\/<\/span>Hr<\/span> – $31\/<\/span>Hr<\/span> plus<\/span> RELOCATION and\/or SIGNING BONUS to the right candidates. YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

\n

\u2022 Operates<\/span> professionally, ethically, and with integrity within the guidelines and standards of the Ontario College of Nurses and adheres to the highest standards of medical practice <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Dispense and administer medications (including methadone, suboxone, narcotics, an<\/span>d injections) as delegated by a licensed Physician. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Collaborates with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate the appropriate treatment plans to support the patient. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Performs ECG\u2019s, venipuncture, urine drug sc<\/span>reening supervision, and testing, and other vitals <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Administers injections and ensures proper documentation of injection numbers consistent with documented protocols <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Responsible for the return of medication bottles, and medication tracking sheets <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Com<\/span>municates with Physician regarding patient needs, change in status, and all emergency situations including medical abnormalities <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Scheduling, information entry and assessment, data management, and document management <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Update, maintain and ensure accurac<\/span>y of patient information within Electronic Medical Records<\/span><\/p>\n

What You’ll Need To Have<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u2022 Completion of a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Previous experience in addiction treatment<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 A member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Completes yearly CNO<\/span> Quality Assurance certification. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Must be able to communicate effectively in English <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Provision of a recent and acceptable Criminal Reference Check. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Current First Aid and CPR Certification<\/span> is required. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong commitment to working with individuals living with addiction and mental health. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Ability to establish therapeutic relationships with patients. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Knowledge of Harm Reduction principles; ability to work with clients experiencing ad<\/span>diction and mental illness and their families.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Proficiency in using Microsoft platform, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.<\/span><\/p>\n
