We often hear from our pharmacists about how nice of a time it was to stay in interior BC, and how it&#8217;s like a hidden gem. We don&#8217;t want to withhold these kind of opportunities from you!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"your-work-schedule\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your Work Schedule:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For the first three days of your locum pharmacist assignment (March 9th to March 11th), you&#8217;d be working from 9 AM to 5 PM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On Friday March 13th and Saturday March 14th, you would work between 8:45 AM and 6 PM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Then from Monday March 16th to Thursday March 19th, you would be working from 9 AM to 5 PM again.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On the first Thursday (the 12th) and Sunday the 15th, you would have time to explore the surrounding area as much as you want.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With temperatures in March hovering just above freezing, you might be able to take part in the local pastime of fly fishing. (and Other Related Responsibilities)&#8221; &#8212; RPI Consulting Group Inc.\" src=\"https:\/\/rpigroup.ca\/blog\/blog\/what-does-closing-the-store-involve-as-a-pharmacist-and-other-related-responsibilities\/embed\/#?secret=dP2sRNRvJA\" data-secret=\"dP2sRNRvJA\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h4 id=\"the-job-of-the-pharmacist\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Job of the Pharmacist:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Within these full-time hours, you would be checking between 120 and 150 prescriptions per day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will procure drugs for patients based on the prescriptions they bring to you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will provide knowledge and advice to walk-in patients and patients over the phone about their drug dosage and drug side effects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will organize patient files on the pharmacy&#8217;s computer system while upholding confidentiality.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"required-credentials\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Required Credentials:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our client needs someone who knows how to use Kroll pharmacy software.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You need to be able to keep on top of the prescription checking workload, so that patients can receive the drugs they need in a timely manner.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You must be licensed to practice pharmacy in Manitoba, or willing to re-license.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You need a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from a post-secondary institution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Having at least two years of pharmacist experience would be a strong asset.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"going-on-an-adventure-every-once-in-a-while-is-good-for-you-especially-when-theres-crisp-air-lush-nature-and-a-job-to-help-pay-for-it-all-think-of-it-like-a-working-holiday\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Going on an adventure every once in a while is good for you, especially when there&#8217;s crisp air, lush nature, and a job to help pay for it all.
