This is a full-time position \u2013 however, the day\/time of your shifts may vary (dependent on when you are most needed in a given week).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"duties-will-include-but-are-not-limited-to\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Duties will include, but are not limited to:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dispense prescription medication and other medical products to patients under direction of licensed pharmacist<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Count pills, label bottles, price, and compound medications to prepare prescriptions for patients as directed<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Perform administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription orders, operating cash registers, and restocking inventory<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gather, organize, and assess patient information<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Supply patients with information and education on their prescriptions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Monitor prescription-filling process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy policies<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Liaise with healthcare providers and patients to obtain correct prescription information<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Answer patients&#8217; questions about their medications under the supervision of the pharmacist<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Take inventory of drugs on hand and records results<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Place orders for additional drugs as directed by the pharmacist<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Maintain electronic patient information<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prepare billing information for medications<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"cs-embed cs-embed-responsive\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"qDy1PGyHF1\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/rpigroup.ca\/blog\/blog\/the-road-to-becoming-a-registered-pharmacy-technician-rpht\/\">The Road to Becoming a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;The Road to Becoming a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)&#8221; &#8212; RPI Consulting Group Inc.\" src=\"https:\/\/rpigroup.ca\/blog\/blog\/the-road-to-becoming-a-registered-pharmacy-technician-rpht\/embed\/#?secret=qDy1PGyHF1\" data-secret=\"qDy1PGyHF1\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h4 id=\"whats-required-of-you\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What&#8217;s Required of You?:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You must know how to use Nexxsys pharmacy software<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You should have at least one year of previous pharmacy assistant experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is a community pharmacy with an average volume of prescriptions per day.
