Have you been desperately looking for full-time work as a pharmacy assistant with a major retail pharmacy chain? We have two<\/em> positions that have just become available with one of our clients. Are you looking for that same kind of experience, but only want to work part-time? We also have a position for you!<\/span><\/p>\n

Transit access would be no problem at all for any of these three job openings, as the client is located right on one of Toronto’s most-frequented transit routes. This job would be particularly convenient if you live north of Bloor Street; you won’t have to bother with Toronto’s busy downtown core at rush hour anymore. Here’s what you need to know about these positions:<\/span><\/p>\n

Typical Job Responsibilities<\/span><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • This is a retail pharmacy in an area with a generous amount of walk-in patient traffic.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • You will be labelling, packaging, bagging prescriptions for the pharmacy’s licensed pharmacists each time they process a script.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • You will also be cashing out the patients at the register, so you need to be able to balance a steady workload.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • You will be working from Monday to Friday each week.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Your hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • You will organize and maintain the inventory of the pharmacy.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • You will keep the pharmacy premises clean and sanitary.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What Skills Do You Need?<\/span><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Any previous pharmacy experience would be an asset.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience in a busy retail pharmacy environment (including locum\/relief shifts) would be a strong asset.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • A post-secondary diploma in a pharmacy-related subject would be ideal.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent English-speaking abilities are needed.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Our client is looking for someone who can read and write with proficiency, too.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • We are also looking for someone with charisma, courtesy, and an overall demeanour of professionalism.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Your Compensation<\/span><\/h4>\n

      • In any of these three positions, you will be paid at a rate of 15 to 16 dollars per hour.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
