Our client is looking for someone who is comfortable managing a very busy community pharmacy, with between 180 and 220 prescription scripts processed every day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will have access to a part of the country that few people get the chance to experience. Read more about this position below.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"job-responsibilities\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will be organizing the everyday affairs of the pharmacy personnel team, with three pharmacy assistants currently working on the premises.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It\u2019s important that you serve as a professional example for these assistants, as well as the other licensed pharmacists under your leadership. The principles of proactive customer\/pharmacist communication, customer confidentiality, and accuracy in procuring prescriptions is key here.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"essential-skills\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Essential Skills:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The client pharmacy has emphasized with us that you will need to have <strong>at least one year of past pharmacy manager experience<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Knowledge of the Kroll pharmacy software system<\/strong> is crucial in this role.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Business outreach work is expected of the pharmacy manager, in addition to typical daily responsibilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will be working with the team to administer injections for customers, so you will need to be <strong>injection certified<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You must be a <strong>licensed pharmacist in British Columbia<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Education in the field of business would be an asset.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"payment-and-compensation\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Payment and Compensation:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This employer offers the successful applicant benefits and attractive pay.
